What To Expect

After you request a date for your consultation,  I will send you a Seeds to Dreams Garden Questionnaire in advance which will provide me with information to ensure productive conversations so you can get started. 

Once the questionnaire is received, I will do some homework on your requests ahead of the meeting. The garden consultations are ideally in person but can be done virtually if needed. The goal of the consultation is for me to finalize all the information I need to plan the perfect garden for you!

At this stage I gather all of the information provided thus far to put together a recommended garden design. I consider sunlight, seasonality, access to water, and many other factors to optimize plant performance. An initial design will be made and we can schedule a time to review the design and you can provide feedback or concerns. 

Once the garden design is approved, I will provide a detailed list of all plants within the garden and where they need to be planted with a hand-drawn layout so you know exactly where to plant everything. 

Lastly, I will compile a PDF with a comprehensive garden plan. This detailed garden plan has all the important dates you need for each plant at every stage in the season. There are visuals to showcase what your season will look like, monthly tasks broken down by week, a how-to guide on each step, and more! For an extra charge, I can make you a physical garden plan with a binder you can use year after year.
